A speculative look at personal audio products through the lenses of fashion labels, rather than familiar technology brands.
I was approached by Giannulli Brands, a startup building relationships with several fashion labels that had yet to explore the personal audio space. Over the course of 6 months, we pitched headphone, earbud, and speaker concepts to each of the brands, basing our work on an outsider's perspective of each label's design language.
To date, sadly none of the explorations have progressed to the point of production, but the project remains an educational study of design motivated by performance and fashion themes over mainstream industrial design "product" trends.
